So she decided to take a stand and make her brand different.

This brand works on Zero waste policy and is known for promoting and paying the right wages to their workers.

Founded by IIT Gujarat and NIFT Gandhinagar Alumni; this brand works towards a transparent and fair supply chain and pricing along with giving due credit and royalties to the ones designing the garment. Currently they are operating from Gujarat .

Tamil Nadu based brand, started by  Appachi Eco-Logical Cotton Ltd.(which has pioneered in growing the finest Eco-Logic Cotton in the country), introduces only 2 collections per year ( Spring and Autumn). The carry tags of this brand include the name and picture of the worker, along with the number of days invested in the making of the garment.

It is a designer label by Karishma Shahani Khan in 2012, who is a London college of Fashion graduate. This brand focuses on sustainable approach at every step of garment production;they only work with natural fibers. They are slowly trying to move towards zero waste policy as well.

This brand has received multiple awards and a place in 30's-Under-30's Forbes India 2016 list.

Designer Amit Aggarwal launched his ready to wear label AM.IT. The collection was debuted in 2015 AIFW.

He used the remains of the laser cut bindi sheets in his clothes.
